The Shovel Handle Pub

The Shovel Handle Pub offers dinner options with upscale American pub food, with delicious creations and a staff that will put a smile on your face and make you want to come back time and time again to experience this magical place.

The Shovel Handle Pub is beautifully restored post and beam barn built in 1842. An actual working barn up until the 1970s, the original cow stanchions still hang in the barn along with artifacts from the farming days of Moody Farm.

With views of Black Mountain Ski Resort out our windows, sit fireside under “Whit”, our moose mascot, and enjoy three levels of dining. Family-friendly live entertainment is offered most weekends. The Shovel Handle Pub also provides a great venue for weddings and parties up to 140 people.
